ASEK™ Aircrew™ Survival Egress Knife - Survival Knife System - The ASEK™ Survival Knife System designed and manufactured by The Ontario Knife Company is the one and only Survival/Egress knife chosen by the Untied States Army to be included in its Air Warrior Equipment System. Don’t be fooled by imitations - This is the only ASEK™ Survival Knife Systems tested and approved by PM Soldier and Natick Research Labs to meet the criteria defined by the US Army. This system is a Survival/Egress Knife with Plexiglas Breaker, Hammer, Saw teeth, serrations, spear holes, lanyard hole and insulated guard. It comes with an anodized aluminum strap cutter to cut webbings, cord, cloth, etc. It has a screwdriver and a honing rod to keep your knife field sharp. The fire retardant scabbard fits on the pilot’s vests, load bearing equipment, web belt, belt or can be worn on the calf as designed for Air Warrior. The strap cutter fits in the left leg pocket on flight suits and is a must for medical crews. |

The RTAK2 is a super large survival knife featuring a 10.25" blade made of 1095 carbon steel with a flat finish for protection. The thick Micarta handle is removeable for cleaning. This knife is large enough for any task you put it to! The sheath is a deluxe Nylon combat type system with a pocket on the front and plastic liner for the blade. Improvements on this model over the now discontinued RTAK1 include a better finish on the blade, better guard built into the handle design and overall superior fit and finish.
